• Usage Data: Foods logged, calorie intake, scan history, and app activity.
• Photos: Food images you capture or upload for AI-based calorie analysis. These are processed and not stored permanently.
• Payment Information: Subscription and payment data processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store card details.
• Device Information: Device type, OS version, and app version for troubleshooting.

• To provide and improve the SnapCalorie service
• To analyse food photos and estimate nutritional content using AI
• To personalise your calorie goals and dietary recommendations
• To process payments for Pro subscriptions
• To send OTP for phone number verification (anti-fraud)
• To respond to support requests and communicate with you
• To monitor app performance and fix bugs

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the App:

• Google (Firebase, AI Vision API): For authentication and food image analysis
• Razorpay: For payment processing
• MSG91: For OTP delivery via SMS
• Supabase / Railway: For secure database hosting

All third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us. Food images uploaded for analysis are not stored after processing.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and secure database storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

SnapCalorie is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
